Financial Counselling
Having designed and developed your strategy we further assist employers in communicating the benefits to employees - after all, benefits an employee can neither understand or value delivers no value to the employer! Hence, in addition to helping with the design of a benefits package, we see our roles as then demonstrating its value and relevance to the employees concerned.
Just some of the mechanisms we have used in the past include:
- Dedicated helplines for employees
- Face-to-face meetings for employees
- Wealth management for directors and key personnel
- Retirement and redundancy planning and advice
- Financial education programmes
- Online scheme management
- Worksite marketing programmes
- Benefit modellers and forecasters
This division obtained its first contract to provide a financial counselling service to employees of a FTSE-100 company in 1975 and therefore has gained significant experience in delivering such services. This wealth of knowledge has been adapted and applied in many other corporate environments to facilitate the successful delivery of the benefits package by empowering employees to optimse the value of the benefits available to them at an individual level - and thereby implicitly communicating value.
Suggested action
- Is the enrolment in your schemes as you anticipated? If not, we can review your communication programme and suggest alternatives. When providing a financial counselling service to your employees you should not discriminate - all employees should have the opportunity to talk with a specialist.
